Slow March

This piece was premiered and recorded on April 24th as part of the WAAPA Composer's Great War concert. The piece calls for a large number and wide variety of melodic instruments and a snare drum. 

At the start of the piece, all the high instruments play their lowest note that's part of the Gminor chord and all the low instruments play their highest note of the Gminor chord. Then, both lots of instruments more "outwards" along the Gminor scale until the reach the extremes of their ranges and the piece ends. The idea is very simple but I feel as the result is very effective.
